Close Up Photos
Closer photos can be challenging. You focus on composition and lighting, posing a model in a very tight area. This makes it even more difficult when you have a shallow depth of field is where your focus slowly slides out of focus and makes that beautiful soft background that most people realize it's just a beautiful photo, but most photographers know as the Boca. In this particular photo, I wanted to focus and get her hair and focus on her right-hand side so that while it was drifting down her eyes, I wanted to be soft enough by the time it hit her neck. I achieved this by using a 50 mm lens shooting on the floor. I also added some room lights to give that warm temperature and adjusted appropriately in the camera settings. We did have camera flashes, but we used more of the wall the bounce the light to give you a more natural look in the room. Overall I think it made the photo look phenomenal, and we are so thankful for the outcome and the cover.
